If you can't go to one of the most influential centers of the performing arts New York, we will bring it to you! Immerse yourself in the world of Broadway and beyond with Rada Angelova, a professional in the field of theater, musicals and dance performances in the Big Apple where she has worked for 17 years. He is the founder of This Is My Show, a personal and professional development class in the field of performing arts, inspired by the art world of New York.
On February 25, she will bring you to the front row of the performing arts stage with the theme "Theatrical practices from New York and new horizons for the performing arts". Prepare for a double effect - to gain experience from one of the most influential artistic centers in the world and to feel more prepared to work with professionals on an international scale.
Together, we will learn about the environment and practices that will make you more informed and better prepared for success. We'll talk about the history and challenges of some of the most successful shows, as well as leading performing arts distribution agencies. We will understand what they are looking for and how to interest them. And all this, finding intersections with our work here and now with an eye to the future!
The class is suitable for all types of artists and/or hobbyists of any level and genre with or without professional experience. Within 3 hours we will get to know each other, share experiences, discuss and practice valuable guidelines from the lecturer.
He has an MA in Performing Arts Management from the State University of New York and a BA from Mount Holyoke College, alma mater of Pulitzer Prize-winning playwrights and Oscar-winner Chloe Zhao for Nomad Land. Outside of work is in the theater likes to deal with music and collaborate with artists from different fields. He is the author and performer of numerous songs, including "Anonymous in New York" and "Margarita".
